French, early 1800's.
Hand hammered metal strap work, latch and working lock with original key.
Beautifully made with traditional hand carved joints providing indication of age.
A magical colour; a patina to admire.
Later lining to the interior.
A truely original piece of French craftsmanship; Glaorious.

In outstanding antique condition. All original, robust and sturdy. Despite its years, this trunk has been loved and very much cared for! Simply stunning.
