Superb French Antique Bronze Putto Holding a Torch, Circa 1800's.

Gorgeous little find this.
Antique bronze putto holding a torch.
French, circa early to mid 1800's.
Beautifully detailed, finished in a time worn gold gilt.
Part of a larger ensemble; such as a clock;  earlier in his life, but now stands handsomely in his own right.
Always very popular these as small decorative pieces as they are each totally unique.
This is fabulous as he does stand leant against a wall or similar as shown.
Glorious piece.
Approx. max. dims: H; 220mm.
In excellent antique condition. Wear to the gold gilt as one might expect but this doesn't detract from the sheer elegance of this lovely find. Holes to the rear as shown as this was once part of a larger ensemble; not visible from the front and of course could be utilised to secure him to a surface.
This is an original antique and may well show signs of use and wear commensurate with age.
