Set of Six French Faience Art Deco Silver Plated Kitchen Storage Containers.
A very rare find.
Complete set of six (6) kitchen storage containers with lids.
French; made in Czechoslovakia, circa 1920's / 30's.
Faience tin-glazed earthenware, marked as such to base,
Finished in a slightly off white; almost French cream; glaze with bold silver plate decal to the front, lids and the lettering of each container.
Something very very special.
Containers marked; Sucre, Café, Farine, Pates, Thé and Poivre. (Sugar, Coffee, Flour, Pasta, Tea, Pepper)
These are as finer example of Art Deco modernity, progress and luxury of this era of decadence; as you're likely to find.
Sourced personally in the Normandie region of France.
Approx. Max Dims: Largest: 190mm tall , 150mm wide and 70mm deep, Smallest: 100mm tall, 70mm wide and 40mm deep.
In excellent antique condition. No signs of damage or repair. Silver plate in excellent condition. Just an exemplary example of French Deco style.
These are original antiques and may well show signs of use and wear commensurate with age.
