Magnificent Antique French Larder Cupboard.

Now this is a rare beast.
 
A French larder cupboard; often referred to as a garde-manger or placard à confiture.
 
Very very hard to find as so much in demand.
 
This actual cupboard was in our farmhouse in South West France; but now back in the UK.
 
The farmhouse dates to 1801.
 
Made in pine, with six (6) adjustable shelves plus the base shelf; and of course on top; so plenty of storage.
 
Original handle, lock and key; fully functional.
 
Recessed panels to the front and sides, architrave to the top.
 
Finished in a old white paint.
 
Approx. max.dims: H: 1780mm (70"), W;730mm (28 3/4"), D: 445mm (17.5")
 
In excellent antique, as found condition. Solid and robust. Slight marks and scuffs as one might expect. The unit slopes backwards a tad; due to the uneven floor in our kitchen, but this is easily remedied should you see the need.  Its fine as it is.
 
You never see these available at brocantes anymore; they're snapped up immediately.
 
This is an original antique and may well show signs of use and wear commensurate with age.
