A large Champagne bowl / ice bucket.
French, circa 1920s/30's.
Silver plate that has tarnished quite majestically over time, with use and love, delivering a magnificent golden hue.
The fabulous bowl is engraved to the underside of the rim all the way round with names of top marque Champagne makers.
Engraved also to opposing faces with ' Grandes Marques de Champagne & Restauration'.
Incredible centrepiece with a multitude of uses.
To polish or not too polish; over to you!
Approx. max Dims: H: 290mm, Dia: 390mm
In excellent antique condition. The odd very slight bump or scratch perhaps as one might expect;nothing noteworthy.
Siimply stunning.
This is an original antique and may well show signs of use and wear commensurate with age.
