Traditional gargoulette or lidded water jug.
French from the late 19th century.
Crafted from a pale grey glazed earthenware pottery.
Adorned with a decorative lid, distinctive top handle and small spout.
Beautiful decorative piece.
Sourced personally from the Pays de la Loire region of France.
Approx. max. dims: H: 320mm, Dia (including spout) 270mm
In excellent antique; as found condition. Some crazing to the glaze and a few marks to the exterior as shown but no damage or repairs.
Lovely authentic rustic addition to the modern home.
This is an original antique and may well show signs of use and wear commensurate with age.
