Antique Victorian Pine Wash Stand / Desk.
Very rare find this.
A Victorian wash stand.
Circa 1860.
Made in pine, two draws to the front, trestle ends with decorative stretchers.
Hand cut dovetail joints just add to the authenticity of this beautiful piece.
The patina to the light honey coloured finish is just sublime.
Crafted as a wash stand, this stunning piece of Victoriana can easily be repurposed as a desk or kitchen table.
Quite something.
Approx. max. dims: H: 770mm, W: 915mm, D: 535mm, H to underside of draws: 600mm.
In excellent antique, as found condition. Solid and robust. Slight bumps and scrapes, evidence of historical repairs in places, as one might expect but nothing detrimental to the aesthetic of this unique piece.
This is an original antique and may well show signs of use and wear commensurate with age.
