Absolutely stunning antique oil painting; 'nature morte' of a 'laid table'.
About as quintessentially French as you can get!
Oil on burlap.
Mesmerising, as it's a simple study and almost naively panted but the aesthetic is just so alluring.
A really fabulous piece of art!
Signed BL and adverso to frame.
Approx. max. dims: H: 600mm, W: 730mm, D: 20mm
In good antique condition. A few loose strands of the burlap to the edges of the 'frame but this is part of the charm.
Sourced personally from the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region of France.
This is an original antique and may well show signs of use and wear commensurate with age.
