Antique Large Painted Pine Chest of Draws. Storage. Circa 1880's.

Lovely large chest of draws.
English, circa 1880's.
Made in pine, these draws are arranged ion a '2 over3' configuration, two smaller over three large draws; offering plenty of storage.
These have been painted previously in a white gloss, with evidence of a grey paint layer beneath.
Original escutcheons and locks seem to be in place under the paint; no keys though.
Later added glass handles.
Looks great as it is; but could be a future restoration project, as is your want.
Scraped back or stripped by alternative methods to reveal the pine underneath is very much 'on trend'.
A beautiful piece of original functional furniture.
Approx. max. dims: H: 1000mm, W: 1060mm, D: 500mm
In excellent antique; as found condition. Solid and robust. No signs of damage or repair. Some chips and bumps to the gloss paint as one might expect but this just adds to the authenticity of this fabulous piece.
This is an original antique and may well show signs of use and wear commensurate with age.
