Antique French Rustic Stoneware Jar or Pot. Late 1800's
Lovely jar this; great proportions.
French from around the mid to late 1800's.
Traditional stoneware used to store and preserve foodstuffs; now beautiful; unique display items in their own right.
Fabulous patina and colourway to the glaze.
Sourced personally from the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France.
Approx. max. dims: H: 280mm, Dia: 170mm
In excellent antique; as found condition. A few very minor scuffs to the glaze as one might expect; no signs of damage or repair.
This is an original antique and may well show signs of use and wear commensurate with age.
