Oil on canvas portrait of a lady wearing a head covering and shawl.
French, circa mid 1800's.
Frame is wood and gesso with gold gilt detailing.
Signed bottom right; signature undistinguishable.
Fabulous aesthetic to this alluring piece.
Personally sourced in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France.
Approx. Max. Dims: H: 760mm, W: 650mm, D: 50mm
Ready to hang or free stand.
In very good antique; as found condition. Loss of gesso in places to the frame as shown; but the frame is solid and robust. Slight mark to the canvas as shown. Painting might benefit from a clean; but I love it as it is; as might you; it has a magical, dusty hue to it. 
Attention grabbing piece of authentic French art.
This is an original antique and may well show signs of use and wear commensurate with age.
